New files I produce have also been affected and it wasn't until today that I noticed this problem, thus I am assuming this has to be a settings conflict, a sudden problem with the graphics on my computer (I have a Gigabyte GTX 570 and am running on Windows 8.1 64 bit), or a recent update problem (assuming the program is defaulted to auto update, I haven't manually done any).

Still even so, all files previously accessed and all files I have not accessed will not display fine detail. I have left all given tutorial (skeleton) files alone and formed my own separate saved files just in case a problem like this ever came up. The properties palette when clicking on a certain element will mention fine detail when in the fine detail level, but it is still displaying everything in medium detail. I do not recall modifying any settings in Revits major properties nor remember making any overrides with any elements in Revit. This problem has affected all floor plan views.Īs mentioned before, this is a problem that has only showed up as of recent. Today however when I opened another given tutorial file I noticed that the "fine" detail level was showing the same exact detail as the "medium" detail level, thus I seem to have lost the ability to show "fine" detail in the drawings I work on and have worked on previously. I am currently using tutorial videos with given files in order to gain the basics of Revit which have worked entirely fine up to now showing all 3 detail levels (coarse, medium, & fine). I am pretty new with Revit and was hoping I could receive some help/guidance on this recent problem I have experienced.
